Pommelien Thijs is an incredibly versatile talent, and this piece is a tribute to her fresh, original, and creative personality. When Jurgen Massi asked me to collaborate on a project for De Warmste Week, we immediately knew that Pommelien would be the perfect source of inspiration. Jurgen brought the painting to life, while I created a composition that captures the many facets of her career and personality.

The artwork features Mia awards and golden records, symbolizing her musical achievements, the Voice chair, referencing her role as a coach, and a sewing machine, representing her passion for upcycling outfits and stage decor. You’ll also find a golf cart being filmed, a nod to Knokke Off, and a scene of her performing with her band. Finally, there’s a queue with a silver chain, a subtle reference to her song "Zilver."
